What we collect

Bagpine is a draft-writing tool. By default we do not require an account. We may process the review text, rating, app name, tone, optional voice notes, and optional contact fields (email / product website) you submit so the API can return a draft reply. Brand notes and contact fields you save stay in your browser localStorage unless you generate a reply and explicitly opt in to save that generation for product improvement.

Contact email and product URL are optional. If you leave them empty, drafts must not invent emails or support URLs. If you fill them in, they may appear in the draft so reviewers can reach you. We encourage real human follow-up for hard issues. When you opt in to improvement logging, we store flags that contact was provided and redact plain email addresses and URLs from the saved payload — we do not keep your contact strings as learning gold.

Gray-test logging

Saving a generation for improvement is optional. If you leave the box unchecked, that generation is not stored for learning. Waitlist emails and site feedback you send are stored so we can reply and improve the product. Do not paste passwords, secrets, or private personal data into reviews, voice notes, or feedback.

Cookies & devices

We use a small set of first-party cookies and local storage for daily free AI quota, language preference, and optional analytics session ids. Details are in the Cookie Policy. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or ad pixels.

AI providers

When AI is configured, generation requests are sent to the model provider configured on the server (for example DeepSeek or OpenAI). Treat store reviews as content you are allowed to process. Drafts are suggestions only — you decide what to publish.
